This is the fifth time out for this outstanding series of short works staged in the libation-friendly confines of Joe's Garage. The idea behind it is as fresh as ever: stage short works, with no sets, smack in the middle of a room at floor level with the audience. Oh, and draw upon the best acting talent in town to make it happen. The resulting artistic chain reaction is entertaining, frequently silly, and quite audience-friendly (the Thirst show at last year's Fringe, performed al fresco on the roof at Joe's, was one of my favorite theatrical experiences of 2005). The list of playwrights involved includes Trista Baldwin and Dominic Orlando, and the actors include Sarah Agnew, Charlie Bethel, Stephen D'Ambrose, Charity Jones, and Carolyn Pool. And that is a very truncated list. The shows take place every Monday through April 3. $10. 7:30 p.m. --Quinton Skinner EVERY M JAN 23-APR 3, 2006
