Thirst Theater is a one-of-a-kind theatrical experience where some of the Twin Cities best professional playwrights and Equity actors collaborate to create five new, short plays in and around one of today's most concentrated sources of human drama: a bar.

Thirst has produced more than 90 new plays about everything from red states and blue states to speed dating with Hitler to corporate greed to old fashioned heartache in styles that range from conventional to experimental, linear to nonlinear, musical to dance. Performances have included puppets, zombies, cowboys, cannibals, Hungarians, and much more. It's eavesdropping made into art, written and performed in the daring, spontaneous, and fun spirit of a good evening out.
